Greetings all; I had some plastic ballusters left from making the guard rail for the ramp, plus a pile of cutoffs, and thought that cutting them up into nominally 1 & 1/2" pieces, they would make excellent little pockets to set the hats in with the mounted taps sticking up for handles to retrieve them.
I have it about 1/2 made, a 10x grid will be held together with some of the fencing glue, which is a solvent weld I believe. I have the outside of the square wrapped in a 1/4" thick oak frame I'll put a bottom on, and a hinged latchable lid, should make a good storage box for the whole lot. Keeps me out of the bars, and within reach of the houses portable phones in case the missus needs help. ;-) Now if I could figure out what to do with a other cutoffs. Seems a shame to just recycle it... -- Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
