The milling machine comes in both 5 and 6 axis versions. You ask why this is different from other 5-axis mills. Likely so as to make it possible to add the 6th axis without need to re-design everything. Also they say the design eliminates the need to fixtures. The part can be clamped on one edge then milled and drilled from any angle without having to unclamp and manually flip the part.
