Thats what I'm afraid of.

With the 7i76, I'll have all the stepgens I need with one to spare, and
since the 7i78 also has the isolated vfd driver, I am wondering if p2
has the pwm/pdm signal if the 5i25 has the 7i76-7i78 firmware in it, and
a normal breakout is plugged onto 5i25/p2 instead of the 7i78. This
would work UNLESS the com from p2 is also on SPI. I messaged PCW last
night, but its a holiday here in the US today, so I don't expect a reply
till Friday.

Thinking about my softstart of the motor psu, so as not to trip sick bird
circuit breakers, I can think of several ways to skin that cat, but
getting a digital pdm out of this combo doesn't seem to be possible w/o
a 2nd 5i25. That may wind up being the solution yet.

But I just got told I may as well start the dinner I've planned.

Thanks Andy.
