One turned out to be a SCSI card :-) One turned out to need a driver download every restart (without which it had an uncommitted generic IO chip. Which might potentially be a really useful thing with a dedicated LinuxCNC driver One turned out to be fine for P-port use but not support EPP. And one (OxSemi chip) worked fine in all regards. I will try to run through them again and get the data you are wanting. What sets the base address of a card? Is it the card or the PC / BIOS? -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1916 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
