There are two types of motor known as an "AC Servo Motor". The current prevalence of the permanent magnet brushless servo has rather obscured the existence of the other type, which used a non-magnetic rotor and induction. It seems you have some of the latter type. They should be very reliable and very tough. They seem to stil be produced: https://amk-group.com/en/product/ac_induction_servo_motors_dv -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1916 _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
