Greetings all; It turns out that with my choice of BoB hooked to the 5i25-p2, I have no off condition because that BoB, an early cnc4pc C1G also follows the 7i76"D" convention. A bit off is srcing a logic high at the terminal strip, even when lcnc is stopped, so the motor runs wide open. That supply is not powered down when lcnc is stopped since its supplying its own circuitry.
But laying in bed just now, it occurs to me that I do have a switched 12 volts supply, the same circuit that runs the air valve via a relay, can just as easily switch off the 12 volts for the motor with that same relay. So, moving one wire about 6" will fix that. Wish I could think that clearly standing in front of the machine with an aching back & half a cuppa cold coffee in one hand. Sigh... So have fun chuckling at my stupidity, I deserve it. ;-) Cheers all, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
