Greetings all;

Despite the entreaty's to get a stepper driven model, whose minimum
stepper size was a 42, and cost anywhere from $75 to $300 more than the
toy size PMDC on fleabay, I have it working fairly well. I have a set
of nested brass tubes, so I cut 2 that fit the ID of the nozzle and
pressed them in flush with the end of the adjustable brass nut of a $11
coolant nozzle kit. Then took the center tip loose, chucked it in an
ER42 collet and shaved the OD until it fit but wouldn't come thru the
slightly reduced diameter, by the cutting forces at the tip end. So I
now have an air adjustment that will almost shut off completely.

With an xor for on-off of a timedelay and two adjuster buttons from
pyvcp, one to set the on time and one to set the off time or repeat
speed, I can bang the motor on for 3 ms, and repeat at 100+ ms up to
half a second, I have more than sufficient coolant being delivered to
the tool w/o flooding the area and wasting coolant. This allowed the
air pressure to the air valve to raised far enough for reliable
operation of that electric valve without burning up the air compressor.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
