How hard might it be to add a Job Queue to one of the user interfaces? At our factory it is common for a supervisor to create a list of jobs that are to be ran on a machine for the next shift(s). I think it would be nice if this could be handled as part of Linuxcnc. The supervisor could build the job list including: file name and path, type of material to be used, and number of parts needed (or file runs) then send that directly to the Linuxcnc PC at the machine over the network. Then Linuxcnc could use this list to open the correct file for the machine operator, tell the operator what material is to be used, keep track of the number of parts (or runs) completed, and move on to the next item in the queue and load it's milling file when ready, and on down the list.
