And given that there are lots of Chinese CNC packages all offering MACH3 with 
it  (the unlicensed pirated version) I'm going to guess at least 10x more of 
WINDOWS/MACH3 when you include CNC routers in addition to milling machines. 

I have one friend who has MACH3 on both machines and also a licensed copy of 
MACH4 that he hasn't bothered using since MACH3 does what he wants.  He builds 
parts for high performance drag racers and other things.

I showed him the LinuxCNC install.  He wasn't interested at all since what he 
has works with what Fusion360 generates.
