But that tape is a hugely fragile solution. Hard drives in the 2T territory are 100's if not 1000sands to times more dependable. Using virtual tapes on a big hard drive. They make 10000000 such drives annually, sealed against the environment so its stands to reason that as backup storage, they are many times as dependabe than tape. I switched amanda to big drives in about 2003, and I've replaced that drive 4 times now, not because it failed, but because I out grew it. Save your $config and nc_files directorys, and install 2.7. A lot has been hugely improved since 2.3.0. Copy your nc_files back. Print the $configs so you've hard copy of the old config, and restore the scales and such in a newly built set of files. Print the docs. A few hours with an editor should have it running even faster than before. including your old gcode.
