This can be somewhat difficult, unless you can dedicate a button on the 
pendant to be an enable for a distance-per-click range adjustment using 
the same dial that is used for the jog in a 1,2,5 sequence. Mine starts 
at .0001"/click. You can dl that configuration by adding lathe-stf/ to 
the address bar of your browser after clicking on the link in the sig, 
then clicking on the linuxcnc4rpi4 link. Then dl sheldon-lathe.tgz to 
get the whole maryann.  Somewhat messy but commented to explain what its 
doing. I'm useing a mesa 7i90 so you'll need to translate that i/o to 
your mesa cards. You will learn a lot about hal while translating that.
