Greetings all; As I've said earlier, I have quite a bunch of pyvcp leds tallying this and that on the Sheldon's axis gui.
One of them tracks the vfd & machine power, turning it green when the vfd and motors are powered up. is on. This whole circuit is controlled by a couple 40 amp SSR's so it comes on with the F2 button. If I interrupt that signal path with an and2, and drive the 2nd input with a timer set to be a 555 like oscillator controlled by the alarm status of the Z drive, I can make that led flash red/green. But I'll be the only one who would know what _that_ blinking led means. So how hard would it be to make it pop up a text box with a short description in it?? IOW can hal do that?? Thanks all.
