But a .5mm shrink of the bore was almost too much, 0.25mm would have been 
just right I think, as I had to dull the edge of the hub that plugged 
into it, and drive it together with a rubber hammer.  And barring a 
massive filament failure loosening it, its there forever.  The shaft 
hole is pretty sloppy, so I'll not finish this one with grub screws.

But now I know I can do it. VBG's ensue.
