Greetings all; I just measured the hub, where it sets into the output bearing in this drive, and the bearing is a 6807ZZ according to the step files BOM. The hub of plastic in the flex gear is 35.25mm. The housing diameter this bearing is being rendered at 46.82 by a quick, might be off center and small because I grabbed the measurement while the printhead was out of the way. Freecad unforch doesn't list the ID/OD of this bearing but I'd bet its metric, with a 35mm bore and a 47mm od according to mcMaster but they don't show the ZZ version. 7mm thick which from freecad looks to be in the ball park.
And they show "ships in 6 weeks" so its not even in stock. And $75.00/copy for the SS version they show. Fleabay is much more reasonable. As low as $7.50 if I want to wait on china post. The reason I am concerned is because the math in the parametric sprocket kit for openscad generated under sized sprockets which had slack at the back of a loop of real belting wrapped around the sprocket, so the sprocket was small, and I had advanced the count/mm in the ender's gcode interpretor for both x and y from 79.25 to 80.00 to get a sprocket that actually fit the belt, and those settings are in effect as I render this thing. So ATM the bearing ID to flexgear has a too small compression, and with the stars aligned, the OD will also be a better press fit. I won't know for sure until I get it off the build plate in the wee hours of tomorrow morning and can get good, its cold measurements. This houseing is nearly a 2 day/copy render, and if not usable, I'll be pi$$ed. Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
