Here is some other educational material that I have first-hand experience with...
For many people, the problem with learning electronic design is a lack of background in mathematics. This *will* hold you back. The best way to catch up or maybe review what you forgot is Khan Academy. Many people think this web site is for kids. Yes, it does cover 3rd-grade math but they also have not less than eight Calculus courses as well as college-level statistics and linear algebra. The classes are slow passed and easy to follow especially if this is a refresher from when you did this the first time 30 years ago. The level is not quite what you'd get from a top-tier university most people don't want that. I think he got it right. https://www.khanacademy.org/math It is 100% free and you can start at whatever level you need to start at even if that is basic Algebra I. On another subject, If you want to make your own PCBs but think learning how to do it is hard, this guy is very good. Maybe he goes to slow. He does do everything at least twice. But in a couple of evenings, you will be able to make any PCB you can think of and get a stack of them made for $2. (40 cents each at JLCPCB.) Believe me, when custom pro-quality PCBs take about 2 hours of your time and cost 40 cents each you WILL find many, many uses for them. https://www.udemy.com/course/kicad-like-a-pro-2e/ It is not free but $13 is close enough to free that it hardly matters.
