Not quite, I can't make it run in reverse thru the rs485 interface.  And 
the same speed signal value runs it 2x faster thru the rs485. I'll get 
it, but probably not while 2 of my boys and one of the DIL's is in town.

I'm getting some crc errors when the spindle is running, but no shakes in 
the speed reported. I'd hazard a guess and say the error is making it 
throw away the bad readings. Might be noise on the cable.  It could be 
about 4 feet shorter.

I've a couple screenshots showing hy_vfd status while running fwd and 
trying to run reverse, but the moderator is holding them because the 
message is 250k bigger than the limit. But it was only 300k leaving 
here. Claims it over half a meg, when its one paragraph of text and 2 
150k jpg's.  Doesn't make sense.
