That doesn't slide off. > Yes, I forgotto sey this. I like these glue lined tubes. But if the normal un-linned tube slides, it means you have used the wrong size tube. After shrinking the tub should be conformal and the big "bump" in the solder joint should make the tube look like a snake who just eat a rat, the bump should be visible and machanically prevent sliding. But the glue lined tube is fool proof. You can never remove it and it is good enough to be submerged in water. Be sure to visulay verify the glue did melt. You check by lookingthat some glue was squeezed out both ends of the tube by the shrinking acton. The other method is to use paint-on vynil. For low-volt wire it works well enough. Finally you stagger the splices so that two of then can't come in contact, then insolation maters less. > > -- > atp > "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is > designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and > lunatics." > — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1912 > > > _______________________________________________ > Emc-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users > -- Chris Albertson Redondo Beach, California _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
