I use a peristaltic pump pulsed about 5% of the time by a timer in linuxcnc, run by separate contacts of the same relay that drives the air valve, a 12 volt thingy I got from a air horn supplier to the large car trade. Intended for air horn use, it get hotter than that famous little red wagon when its on for half an hour or more. So that gets regulated down to about 4 or 5 psi to feed the mister air while the pump gets just enough to keep the work area damp. Oz an hour maybe, of diluted koolmist, diluted to about 1 koolmist to 10 distilled.

So since I have 4 machines that could use it, and I like having a spare on the shelf, so I bought 5 of them. Now I need to find a src of GOOD mister flex hose etc spray assemblies. > > I'm about ready to get rid of my big compressor. The only one I use > anymore is the portable unit for a nail gun. I tried my gun on a portable, huge dewalt framing driver, but the portable didn't always sink a 3.5" framing nail if you worked at a git-r- done pace.
