I like the AMC drive, even though I am having tuning problems (I think it is
the particular drive and/or motor.)
They do have a minimum motor inductance. My motors turned
out to be well above the minimum.
I now have 2 ea AMC 30A20ACV servo amps, all tuned and
running with LinuxCNC.
I'm still waiting for another unit to show up on eBay. I
also have the Estop wired, and a spindle encoder installed
and working.
