I was wondering last night (actually in the context of wire edm) if
any G-code interpreters allow simultaneous arc moves in XY and UV.
Even if the system supported UV arcs (LinuxCNC does not, I just
realised) I can't see how you could define them in G-code. I guess you
could define a new G3.1 code that takes R as XY radius and Q(?) as UV
radius.
Or, it could be done in XYAB space as a position in the XY plane and a
wire angle.
