Well I estimated 15 kw as max power just by the size of the lathe and
motor. This Wednesday the machine is going to be at our shop finally so I
can check the motor in more detail (I couldn't find the label on the
spindle motor when I inspectioned on the site it was on). Thinking about it
better it might be between 10 kw and 12 kw which is not low power either.
The available voltage in our shop is 3 phase 380 volts. I will try and find
more info about the original Fanuc driver and see if that can come to life.
