I pasted all the Halscope traces here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1LU8o4sby2Z89cPpkXSZ2PGD_iqMi0r_b?usp=sharing I have captured transitions from one pattern to another with 4 data lines - each of encoder channels + rawcounts value to keep track of where is it. Please let me know what else can I do. trešd., 2024. g. 20. nov., plkst. 11:56 — lietotājs Robert Schöftner (<r...@unfoo.net>) rakstīja: > > I would also think there is some issue with ground (broken wire?) or > with configuration (assuming hardware is OK of course) -- I got the > same VFD in my Biesses, and although they seem a bit noisy > (touchscreens nearby doen't work as soon as spindle starts despite > shielded motor cables and proper grounding), vfd and motor work ok. > analog signals are coming from 7i48, connected to pins 4 and 5. > start/stop signals etc... is driven by original wiring and relay break > out boards. > Thank you Gene and others for the tips! I did fix it but am not sure what was the cause - with wires removed from VFD the analog output was stable. Connecting cables to VFD and it was fluctuating. In the end it was stable if I removed the wires from VFD to 7i37 board that provide "run" and "stop" signals for VFD. I just introduced 2 relays inbetween and now it kinda works. Robert I was hoping that your experience might help on this as I am getting something that I have not seen before - with pwmgen value = 0 there are 0.3V on the actual analog output (that is approximately 1/30 of the full range so should give about 10Hz on VFD output as I have 0-300Hz range specified in Pr0 and Pr1) but the VFD runs the motor at much higher speed - the frequency matches Prc parameter in VFD. Increasing analog ooutput voltage gradually increases the speed so that 10V gets me 300Hz which is expected. If I change Prc parameter the min frequency also changes but the problem is that setting it to 100 or below does not work properly (although default value is 50 according to manual). Here is a little video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOSE56Y3TI8 It will trigger some errors if I let it keep chocking like that. Any ideas what is wrong? And according to manual there should be parameter "Pr d" that would allow to access additional variables - I wanted to change b50 to provide "at speed" signal on terminals 1 and 2 and also check the b53 because it does not change the output on A0 and A2 terminals as the drive stops (it should be "running at minimum speed" signal there) Viesturs _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
