If it all seems to work, then you can transfer the linuxcnc folder to the new SD card. The reason I am suggesting this cautious approach is: https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/issues/3195 which I don;t have the hardware to work on, so I am hoping someone else will.
