In that particular case, the figures went from a short description to a
finished part cast in stainless steel, so no CAD and no machining.
The instructions used to create the figures is very short, and I have
seen photos of coach loads of passengers (all different) created using
this software.
Its a bit like the minimal instructions used to create artwork using any
of the many AI 3D drawing programs.
Type a simple description; refine the description; repeat until the
results are as good as you need.
That's something I have used several times for illustrations for a
website. No need for stock photos, drawing, or photography. And its
quick.
Its another example of a disruptive technology.
