Subject: [Emc-users] wheezy and 7i97T
Hi,
I would like to use my new 7i97T on a previous version of linuxcnc (debian 7
wheezy) worked with the 7i77.
I had install the uspace version to get the hm2-eth drivers and look good
When I start linuxcnc I see the 2.9.0~pre0 version .
A ping 192.168.1.121 send a good feedback of the board.
I got this error
I had install a virtual machine with bookworm and my mesa 7i97T work fine so
some thinks is missing on wheezy
How can i update to get a RT kernel?
Any idea?
Thanks for your help
That linuxCNC version predates the PWM version on the default 7I97T firmware:
hm2/hm2_7i97.0: inconsistent Module Descriptor for PWMGen, not loading driver
hm2/hm2_7i97.0: Version = 1, expected 0
One possibile workaround is to install different firmware on the 7I97T that
has the older PWM version: 7i97t_7i78d.bin
This will require that you update mesaflash:
