Indeed the single button is a limitation but one can’t win the all. I still have a stg card that may be functional but I have too many irons in the fire to find out. The nice thing about the stg is that if you lose a dac hal allows reassignment. Done that several times. Also have a 5i25, etc in line for a stepper-servo setup. The stg has been powered up since something like 2006. May or may not still function. Fall back is to jack up the radiator cap and run a 5i25 and associated support cards under. Right now I’m working on getting a small wood shop in my basement to add capabilities for duplication of gunstocks. Add two acres of wheatgrass and weeds and 5 acres of family land 150 miles away (Puget Sound) andI I have more than I can do easily. But like my wife used to say: ‘keeps me off the streets and out of the bars”.
