I suspect the firmware is not ready to make them. If this is the case. Is

Can you run:
sudo mesaflash --device 5i24 --readhmid > firmware.txt
and send me the results?
(to not clutter the mailing list)
Its looks like you have a 7I52S so I can guess the firmware
but its best to be sure.
