That update caused all interactive auto-complete to fail in master.
It was fixed with https://github.com/LinuxCNC/linuxcnc/pull/4269
Change in src/hal/util/halcmd_main.c:397 to add the editline define test.
The libreadline -> libedit change also seems to be in 2.9, so the same
error is present in halcmd_main.c:439.
