Hi,

A OpenSolaris x86-host only version of qemu is now available for use as a
development target, so emulating e.g. 4Kc is possible.

I have updated the MIPS Platform Port page
(http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Project+mips/) to mention
that qemu is now available as a tool.

I would now like to turn my attention to the toolchain as well.
Have you had any progress so far?
What versions of of GNU binutils are you using?
And what version of GCC are you using?

When the toolchain is ready for use, I think it would be a good idea to
create .spec files and submit them to sourcejuicer
(http://jucr.opensolaris.org) so IPS packages can easily be distributed and
perhaps end
up in the contrib repository.

Palle
