Nor do I.

If it is implemented in a 'gnus-group-line-format' manner, the user can
make as much or as little eye-candy as he wants.

To quote from the Gnus manual (section 2.1.1 Group Line Specification):

"The default format of the group buffer is nice and dull, but you can
make it as exciting and ugly as you feel like."
