One last remark regarding the usage of tabulated-list and removing duplications (with or without tabulated-list): a number of playlist manipulating functions would become more complex because of the need of context awareness (is this the first in a succession of repetitions? What rows should be updated after moving it?) and of table manipulation. I'd prefer to use the formatting facilities of the browser and keep everything at the raw-buffer level, at least in a first stage. The nice thing about the format string approach is that, being declarative, it won't preclude a future tabulated, non-repeating, implementation.
