emms-player-mpd-stop not work

behavior:
(emms-player-mpd-stop) doesn't stop mpd from playing

after some inspection I observed:
(emms-player-mpd-disconnect t) in body emms-player-mpd-stop caused this

I'm using:
emms-20230118.2129 on MacOS
