In Emms the "name" field contains the resource location, be it a file or a stream. In the MPV case it is implicit in the command call. As for "icy-title": that's the information embedded in the stream every "icy-metaint" bytes. For example: Playing: http://stream0.wfmu.org/freeform-high.aac (+) Audio --aid=1 (aac 2ch 44100Hz) AO: [pulse] 44100Hz stereo 2ch float A: 00:00:00 / 00:00:05 (18%) Cache: 3.9s/144KB File tags: icy-title: "Nobody's Diary" by Yaz on Three Chord Monte on WFMU A: 00:04:21 / 00:04:25 (98%) Cache: 3.8s/141KB File tags: icy-title: "Bad Connection" by Jennifer O'Connor on Three Chord Monte on WFMU A: 00:04:26 / 00:04:30 (98%) Cache: 3.8s/141KB Saving state. -- "Cut your own wood and it will warm you twice"
