Hi,

I cannot reproduce this.

For me, a "listening now" scrobble is submitted to listenbrainz the track
starts playing and a single permanent submission when the track ends (in
both cases, the work is done
by emms-listenbrainz-scrobbler-make-async-submission-call hence the
optional arg).

Check the recent plays at https://listenbrainz.org/user/franburstall/ on
23rd Nov for proof of permanent storage.

Is there any chatter in your Messages buffer about listenbrainz?
