CC=~/Documents/srr/emscripten/emcc ../configure

is not correct. You should use emconfigure,

    emconfigure ../configure

so it sets all the proper env variables for you. See
https://github.com/kripken/emscripten/wiki/Building-Projects for more info.

Run the last command (that fails) with `EMCC_DEBUG=1` in the environment
(or `-v` passed to emcc) to get more info on what is happening there.
