The only difference between -O2 and -O3 should be the extra
registerizeHarder pass that is run instead of registerize.

This is a function-level optimization, meaning it operates independently on
each function. So you could make builds in -O2 and -O3 (both without
minification, -g2 is best), and replace a function in one with the function
of the same name from the other. Doing that, you could narrow down to which
function the error is caused by. That could help figure this out.
