This is one of several problems I was having with dependencies in
VS2010. Another was that if I did Project Only -> Clean on one of the
dependent libraries, it would clean everything.
The problem, in my case, turned out to be that all my library projects
and the application project were using the same "Intermediate Directory"
in the VS2010 properties. After giving each project had its own
intermediate directory the problems disappeared. I suspect some of the
.tlog files used for storing build tracking information have standard
names so, e.g, project B's build was overwriting the file(s) for project A.
This sort of use was not a problem in VS versions before 2010.
