Offhand, I don't see anything wrong there. Do you get compilation errors or
runtime errors? Can you make a complete standalone testcase for us to look
at?

Looking at the examples in the test suite can be helpful, btw (e.g.
tests/cubegeom.c), those are guaranteed to work.
