BTW I decided to sit and wait...Chrome 47 will *eventually* unfreeze and do 
what it is supposed to do, but we are talking many minutes of waiting for 
it to do whatever it was doing.  So it WILL eventually work, but after a 
completely unacceptable delay while it crunches on something....
