FYI, the problem with it taking 20 steps to step over a single x += 0.1; This only appears to be a problem in Chrome and Firefox Developer Edition, vanilla Firefox seems to work just fine. Vanilla Firefox also has the problem where variables added to "Watch expressions" display a value of "(unavailable)".
