I believe that this is covered by Section 6.3 Guidelines for Designated Experts ... [it] MUST satisfy the requirements of the [RFC7542], Section 2.2 format. https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc7542#section-2.2 Which defines ABNF syntax that does not include a trailing '.', and permits ALPHA / DIGIT / UTF8-xtra-char plus a few punctuation marks. > I'll note that I've spent this entire review essentially on one sentence in > this draft.
