The 29th issue of MEA Bulletin includes reports about recent workshops on empowering women to invest in sustainable land management, avian influenza outbreaks in wild birds, and climate-related risks and adaptation, organized by the UN Convention to Combat Desertification's Global Mechanism, the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, and the Convention on Migratory Species, respectively. The guest article explores the issue of "Tapping the Potential of Environmental Funds." It was written by Yibin Xiang (CBD Secretariat), Yoko Watanabe (GEF Secretariat) and Alberto Paniagua (RedLAC).
