The 30th issue of MEA Bulletin includes reports on recent 
workshops on community forestry and law enforcement, 
implementation activities related to controlling ozone-
depleting substances, and a meeting of the Scientific Group 
advising the Contracting Parties to the London Convention and 
Protocol, which recommended caution in relation to planned 
large-scale iron fertilization of the oceans to sequester 
carbon dioxide.

The guest article explores the issue of "Creating Trading 
Zones and Expertise for Climate Information." It was written 
by Marie Rarieya, Department of Science & Technology Studies, 
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York, USA.
