Hi, I just started using encfs and I have a couple questions:
1) I'm getting around 9meg/second writing to the encrypted volume. This seems low to me. From what I can tell, I'm not cpu bound, and I know that the backend filesystem (ZFS) is capable of at least 40meg/second on a bad day. Any suggestions ? 2) Will encfs take advantage of multiple cpu cores ? 3) Would a newer CPU with the builtin AES extensions increase performance at all ?
