REQUESTING SURVIVORS' STORIES FOR ART EXHIBIT

Weeping Blood Art Exhibit by Reanae McNeal is an art exhibit that deals
with the powerful testimonies of violence against multi-racial and
multi-cultural girls and women. Their testimonies will be put on ironing
boards and artistically designed as exquisite art pieces. This art exhibit
will be a powerful educational and healing mechanism. Statistics of
violence against women will be presented all over the ironing boards as
well as words of wisdom from the women who have shared their stories.
The exhibit will have 20 artistic ironing boards. The Artist of the
exhibit, Reanae McNeal will also share her journals from being a
rape/sexual assault survivor in college.

This exhibit will tour internationally as a powerful testimony of violence
against women and girls of all races and cultures. It will also serve as
documentation for human rights violations against girls and women. After
all it is a girl or woman's birthright to live free from mental,
emotional, physical, and spiritual violence. Thank you in advance for
helping to heal, educate, and change the lives of people internationally.
Telling your story and breaking your silence does make a difference!
Thank you so much for surviving and being able to tell your story.

This art exhibit is especially dedicated to Girl X who was a nine year old
African-American girl who was raped, beaten, forced to drink gasoline and
had roach spray sprayed in her mouth. She was left for dead in the
stairwell of the Cabrini Green housing Project in Chicago, IL (USA) but she
SURVIVED. The exhibit is also dedicated to my niece Savannah who we
lovingly call "Baby Girl" that she would be able to live in a world where
girls and women can be free of violence. Last but not least this exhibit is
dedicated to every red, white, black, brown, yellow, and bi-racial woman who
has suffered at the hands of violence. May the Feminine Spirit be blessed!

I am collecting testimonies of women who have experienced abuse physical,
mental, verbal, emotional, and/or spiritual abuse. Please share your story.
You can send it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or P.O. Box 4961, Rock
Island, IL 61201. Thanks in advance for breaking your silence. Please note
that your name does not have to be used with your testimony!
