I'm just wondering about some of the concepts around channels... Could enet be extended to support unlimited (and negative) channels?
Why doesn't enet_host_create control the number of channels instead of enet_host_connect? I read in the ml history that enet uses channel 255 for protocol messages. (http://lists.cubik.org/pipermail/enet-discuss/2003-November/000114.html) How is that possible if enet_host_connect sets it to something like 3 channels ? Could I also use a higher channel such as 254 for my internal p2p layer regardless of how many channels the connector allocated?
