I did not go to GUADEC this year so I lack the background of the
discussion.

I wonder what metrics were discussed to measure if the change would have
a positive, negative or neutral impact in the funds collected; and, in
which period of time would be measured.

That is assuming that raising the subscription fee is to get more funds
and considering that higher fees would attract less subscriptions.
