I agree that there is much that could be done about providing a better
developer story/experiences,  I think its largely a question about
resources available.

Personally I feel its important to be able to provide a great
developer story/experience, that is why I in 2012 [1] proposed a
Friends of GNOME campaign centered around the issue.

So I definitely think we should think about how we can support
Christian's project and this include the option of having a developer
experience as the next FOG campaign.
