I just wanted to let you all know some stats from google+ on the release. 1) Bastian's release video generated 148,000 hits. Jakub's 84,000 hits. So, awesome job by both! That is an incredible amount of attention. The release announcement itself only generated 19.9k hits.
Bastian's release video generated about 728 re-shares. and the announcement was 374. 2) the people who looked at GNOME G+ page is 135K So not bad I think. I can't seem to compare it with the last release unfortunately, as it only tracks for 90 days. But all of you should be proud that we did so well. The reddit thread on our release was quite successful as well with loads of great and positive comments. I'd like to thank Allan, Bastian, Karen, Jakub, Harshem and the rest of the engagement team for their hard efforts in promoting this release.
