Hello, I'm DaeHyun Sung(성대현,成大鉉).

I'm GNOME Foundation member in Seoul, Korean. Also GNOME Korean Translator
& Contributor.

Last year, I attended GNOME Asia 2018 Chongqing First time, as GNOME
Foundation Member.

Now, I’m preparing to present LibreOffice’s Korea Language session on
LibreOffice miniconf at Debconf 2018 in Hsinchu 新竹, Taiwan 臺灣.
Also I plan to do two activities on Debconf2018 in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

One is to present the lightning talk about CJK issues(Especially, Korean
Language) on GNOME platfform
about GNOME gucharmap, GNOME-characters, etc.[That is my contribution about
GNOME platforms].

(One of Debconf18's Goal is CJKV Localization.
Below is follows links text.
https://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf18/Bids/Hsinchu#CJKV_Localization
"*CJKV Localization *
Due to the complexity of CJKV character input (Chinese, Japanese, Korean,
and Vietnamese), localizations are challenging tasks (input method
modules). Unfortunately, developers from outside east Asia do not know
about the difficulty, and the large demands from local users to improve
CJKV localization. Thus, DebConf will be a good chance for non-CJKV people
to understand CJKV environments and challenges. We hope we can gather more
developers to improve the CJKV environment in Debian.")

The others is to meet GNOME Taiwan Translator & GNOME Foundation member in
Taiwan, LibreOffice Taiwan Member.
I’m planning to go to Debconf2018(First DebConf in Asia) in Hsinchu 新竹,
Taiwan 臺灣.

Now, I'm inform about to participate in Debconf 2018 in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Also Could I request the Travel sponsorship about Debconf 2018 at GNOME
Foundation?
